Brief Description of the Church

We are an inner city, multi-cultural SBC church with blended worship with a strong military [presence due to a close proximity to Ft. Jackson. In regards to the questions below, they are very limiting to our views on some issues. All things aren’t so black and white: Gifts of the Spirit-sign gifts are valid but not the norm; Soteriology-we are a Traditionalist SBC church who believes we are saved by grace through faith but that man as the responsibility to respond in faith; Purpose of the Church-is to both share the gospel and train believers; The Law-the moral law still applies under grace; Tithing-is not a requirement but is God’s standard for the beginning of giving.
