One of the most exhaustive premillennial works ever written on the Kingdom of God exhibiting profound scholarship and extensive study of literature, history, science, theology, and prophecy. Peters quotes from over 4,000 different authorities from the early church fathers to the end of the 19th century. Peters unfolds the entire scope of prophetic truth related to the Kingdom. The complete work in three volumes!
A word from Randy White-
The Theocratic Kingdom by George N.H. Peters is a treasure and a masterpiece. This three-set volume has given me as much learning as any book outside the Bible itself. As I studied the Bible, I became more and more convinced that the majority of the church had an unbiblical concept of the Kingdom of God. I began to recognize the Kingdom as both future (not “already”) and physical (that is, real and earthly). When I stumbled upon this work by Peters, I was soon in awe at the unbelievable amount of work that one man had done to prove that the Kingdom is future and physical! The three volumes contain 206 Propositions, and each proposition contains a number of “observations.” The organization makes the book easy to use. The amount of information and study in the book is exhaustive. Originally published in 1844, the book has some dated language (as one would expect) and some references to people and events which are long forgotten, but it is still the greatest set of books on the Kingdom that has ever been written.
