Brief Description of the Church

Preston City Bible Church was founded in 1815 as Preston City Baptist Church, the first baptist church in the small town of Preston, CT. PCBC is a serious teaching church, emphasizing the grace of God for all phases of salvation, the sufficiency of the Scriptures and the power of the Holy Spirit through them to lead us in the distinctly Christian way of life. We hold to the inevitable consequence of historical-grammatical hermeneutics in a dispensational systematic theology. These distinctives have made us a small church with a big burden of God’s love for sinners and for one another.
