Brief Description of the Church

Itasca Bible church is a Christ centered, grace oriented Bible teaching church. The focus of our teaching is The Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross (1 Cor 15:3-4). We believe that salvation is the gift of God, paid for in full by Christ as indicated by His cry on the cross: “It is Finished” and His resurrection from the dead. (John 19:30, Romans 6:23). This salvation is freely received through simple faith in Christ alone apart from any good works (Acts 16:31; Eph 2:8-9). The method is teaching the Scriptures verse by verse exposition . The objective of our teaching and ministry is that the saints would be equipped for ministry and built up and edified through the intake and application of the truth as the believer walks by faith and allows the Holy Spirit to empower him in love. The goal is that in all things Christ would be magnified and receive the glory due His name.
